Apologies

To all my readers, all five or so of you, I'm sorry for not posting anything recently. I have been caught up in the euphoria that is the Carnival season. For those of you that do not know, every year around this time we on this twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago partake in a festival called Carnival. It usually consists of a run of about two months of parties, and concerts. This usually culminates in two days of ‘Mas’ right before Ash Wednesday which signals the start of the Lenten period. Carnival Monday and Tuesday are the two days in the calendar that costumed bands parade the streets. As this was my first time playing mas I wanted to experience the full thing.

I didn't even get a chance to sit and watch any Champions' League football this past week, but judging from the results I don't think I missed anything
