According to reports in Italy, Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly eyeing Inter midfielder Sulley Muntari as a possible reinforcement in the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old has had mixed success with the Italian champions since joining them from Portsmouth last season, and has struggled to establish his place under Jose Mourinho – he was even booed off by some Inter fans at the weekend, when he was substituted against former club Udinese. He has also dropped down the pecking order due to the arrival of new signings Wesley Sneijder and Thiago Motta.

According to Sportmediaset.it, the midfielder is on the verge of making a return to the Premier League by joining Spurs during the winter window.

Meanwhile, White Hart Lane boss Harry Redknapp is reportedly keen to work with the Ghana international again, having already seen his capabilities up close during their time together at Portsmouth.
