A Sad Day In Football

2010 was carded to be one of the biggest footballing years ever. The FIFA world cup is going to be played in Africa and as a result the importance of the African Nations’ Cup has sky rocketed for certain teams. This has all been marred by the selfish act of a few. The Togolese national bus was attacked by gunmen on their way to Cabinda. Thus far there have been three recorded deaths with a few others injured. My condolences go out to the families of the dead players, and a prayer goes out to the remainder of the players taking part in the tournament. There is way too much sadness in the world and our once pristine escape from it all has been scarred once again by violence.

Here is a little background on Cabinda

I am so upset.

Sooo upset, in disbelief and utter disappointment.

(That's all I can muster right now on this horrific matter)
