With the arrival of some star studded reinforcements, AC Milan have shown that they are now serious contenders in Italy once again. After somewhat of a hiatus from being the frontrunners in Italy, they have emerged this season with new purpose and the legs to do it. honourable mention has to go out to Marco van Bommel, who at the age of… added stability and calm to their midfield at a time when they started to look wobbly after Pirlo’s injury.Kevin’s player of the season: Thiago Silva because of his consistency. Ibrahimovic is a close second.

The 2010/11 Copa del Rey winners Real Madrid have been living in Barcelona’s shadow for the majority of the past decade. Under José this has changed. With a staff shakeup, and a great supporting cast to Ronaldo, they have seemed unstoppable at times. He has run away with the Pichichi in yet another incredible season.
Bobby's Players of the season: Ozil and Marcelo.

FC Porto have had an incredible season. Just one season on from finishing third, they have gone on a run that has seen them become undisputed champions in Portugal, as well as seen then progress to the Europa League final. Under their new coach, 33 year old Andre Villas-Boas, they have played some of the most entertaining football this term with both Hulk (51 appearances; 35 goals; 24 assists) and Falcao (41 appearances; 37 goals; 8 assists. Became overall top scorer in Europa League) coming into their own.
