| Pedro warming up before his debut for Chelsea FC |
28
minutes into his debut against West Brom Albion and he already cemented his man
of the match status. 1 goal against the run of play and then an assist a couple
of minutes later always makes for a fairy tale beginning. Pedro has begun his
Premier League life with aplomb.
This ability to change
games is obviously something that Louis Van Gaal and the red half of Manchester
must surely be ruing. The attacking quality that a player like Pedro
brings to a team is immeasurable. His piercing runs, quick feet, excellent passing and eye for goal would be a super addition to any team. After all this is a player that has won 1 World Cup, 1 European Championship, 5 La Liga titles, 3 Champions' League trophies, 3 UEFA Super Cups and 2 FIFA Club World Cups all by the age of 27.
A proven winner has definitely been added to the Chelsea ranks and based on this debut, this season looks like it will be a outstanding one for him.
