I hoped to get the screenshot a little bigger for my Inter fans out there. I must say that i was disappointed in the Italian champions. After demolishing everyone in their path in the Italian Serie A I'm sure their confidence was sky high going into this game. Unfortunately confidence doesn't win games. Total domination by a clearly superior Barcelona team on a day when they had two of their biggest stars missing, Messi and Ibrahimovic are testament to the Spanish team's depth and strength. "We were completely superior to Inter. We dominated the game and always believed in ourselves," Xavi was quoted as saying by the club's official website.
Let's hope that Inter's apparent impotence in the face of such a mighty opponent doesn't bite them in the a** when they play Ruben.

I was not fortunate to see this game but i did get it play by play on UEFA.com.
There is no question dat Barca dominated in this game. It is still apparent that Inter cannot carry on success away from Serie A. What a pity. Still love my Eto'o.
Go Barca!
Where are the Inter fans this week? The Prescod brothers are missing. Someone send out a search party for them please!!!!
"prescod brother": it doesn't make sense to make anything more of this than what it is. it was a tail of one team in sync and playing well...and another that simply wasn't up for the occasion. It happened when y'all scored against man utd in the final last year. and it happened when y'all scored against inter from the corner. all game plans went out the window. all confidence shot, and the occasion became too much for an inter lacking ideas.
to defend my team, or better yet mourinho, this is inter whenever we have played without sneijder. sadly our new line up although more balanced is still heavily dependent on the quick transition of the offensive midfielder (i.e ONE PLAYER). mourinho asked for more, and got sneijder on the last day.
does this reflect on the serie a?..no not at all. because without sneijder we lost to sampdoria who like barca are very well organised defensively. without sneijder we drew with rubin.etc etc.
its being blown out of proportion how barca dominated, as if this isnt and hasnt been the case in recent times. barca are simply the best team in the world when they are on. and to their credit they were on vs inter. but i, like you(i assume) looked at the full ninety, and honestly speaking, it was a case of a serious momentum shift that we never were able to turn, after piques goal. prior to the goal, it was a balanced game.
